Welcome to the Lester B. Pearson School Board!
The Lester B. Pearson School Board (LBPSB) proudly offers a rich classroom experience for students ranging from kindergarten for 4-year-olds, elementary school, high school, adult education, and vocational training centres.
The LBPSB is one of the largest English school boards in Québec. The LBPSB serves 21,000 students in the youth sector and 8,700 in its adult sector. The LBPSB has a network of 37 elementary schools, 13 secondary schools, and eight adult education and vocational training centres. In addition, the school board operates alternative learning centres and an International Language Centre.
STUDENT TEACHERS
The LBPSB accepts a large number of student teachers each year.
Student teachers will have the opportunity to interact, in actual learning environments, with students, colleagues, families and other stakeholders in the teaching profession, all under the supervision of a host teacher.

SUPPORT STAFF INTERNS
Support staff interns are paired up and supervised by an experienced LBPSB team employee in their field of expertise.

PROFESSIONAL INTERNS
Professional interns are directly supervised by a professional and they work in schools, interacting with students and staff to carry out professional tasks.
University schools of psychology, speech and language pathology, psychoeducation, occupational therapy, etc. will direct internship and field placement candidates to the Student Services Department liaison.
